4-axis machining of a tie bar resin screw nozzle using a CNC lathe multi-tasking machine.
We will manufacture screw nozzle processing of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene resin using 4-axis machining. We will handle contract processing considering the material's characteristics such as tolerances and distortion.
We manufacture screw nozzles made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene resin using 4-axis machining. Jet nozzles related to industrial machinery often have complex shapes, and since the programming is also complicated, when jigs or 4-axis/5-axis machining machines are required, the product prices tend to be higher. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (HHMW, Tybar, Newlight, Ulmolar) has excellent wear resistance due to its material properties, but it is soft, making it difficult to achieve a clean and deep cut. Additionally, among resins, it is on the softer side, and pressing it hard with a nail can leave marks. [About Our Processing] ■ NC Lathe Compound Processing (Okuma) For machining such as indexing and screws, we use a method that does not require clamps or positioning jigs with 4-axis machining machines. ■ Inspection Method We check the received drawings with a check mark and record the actual measurements for areas with tolerances. *In the world of plastic resins, unlike metals, the dimensional tolerances are often ambiguous, leading to a temperature difference with manufacturers that handle metal machined products. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
